Negativland is an American experimental music band that originated in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1970s. The core of the band consists of Mark Hosler, David Wills, Peter Conheim and Jon Leidecker. Negativland has released a number of albums ranging from pure sound collage to more musical expositions. Beyond Fest 2026 Q&A with filmmaker Sung Kang and cast and crew U.S. Premiere

DRIFTER

Director and co-writer David Wain joins us in person for the premiere of the year: the world theatrical debut of the *Wet Hot American Summer* Fart Cut.

After an unfairly underseen limited initial release, *Wet Hot American Summer *would first find the adoring audience it deserved when it was issued on DVD in the winter of 2002.

Deep within the menus of that quintessential disc, a one-of-a-kind special feature was waiting to be discovered. 

It was&#8230; a Fart Track.

An alternate audio track playing alongside the movie featuring live recorded farts, **simulated** by Wain, co-writer/star Michael Showalter, and (“maybe”) co-star Zak Orth. Like the film, the track has a fervent following who until tonight have never had a chance to convene and relive their favorite farts.

Much has thankfully been done to celebrate the 25th anniversary of *Wet Hot American Summer. *But on this day, Hollywood Entertainment is proud to be the first to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the *Wet Hot American Summer *Fart Cut live and in surround sound.

Steve Nekoda (Joel D. Wynkoop) is a good guy having a bad day. After run-ins with both the corrupt local cops and a satanic biker gang, his world is turned upside down when his beautiful, model wife is kidnapped by an evil karate master (David Bardsley) and his nefarious henchmen; who keep a harem of abducted women confined in a jungle prison awaiting their sale into a white slavery ring. The vanishing of an editor of an occult magazine sets in motion an investigation by a freelance writer and a colleague – soon they will be mired in a mystery that engulfs the Kinki region: missing children, hysteria, hauntings and much, much more.
Director Koji Shiraishi defined what true fear was with his entry into the found-footage-documentary scene with NOROI and he comes back this year with this new entry that is designed with a single purpose in mind: to terrify the audience beyond belief and then some. Trust me when I say that once KINKI ends, darkness will seem like a much more terrifying place than it did before the screening – see it with a friend and make sure you don’t walk together.

As he digs into the mystery, he discovers that Cane&#8217;s writing is causing a literary psychosis that&#8217;s spreading to all who read his twisted tales and destroying humanity and even reality. A film made to be seen in a theater (to enhance its metaness), *In the Mouth of Madness* is one of the best horror films on the 1990s and a perfect vehicle to show off both Carpenter and Neill&#8217;s ranges!
