Twin Cheeks feels like if John Waters picked up a video camera and made a Twin Peaks homage and sprinkled in a dash of Rainer Werner Fassbinder for good measure. Negativland is an American experimental music band that originated in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1970s. The core of the band consists of Mark Hosler, David Wills, Peter Conheim and Jon Leidecker. Negativland has released a number of albums ranging from pure sound collage to more musical expositions. The George Lucas Talk Show is a long-running variety spoof show in New York City. Comedian Connor Ratliff (WIDOW’S BAY, Dead Eyes podcast) hosts the show as “Retired Filmmaker George Lucas,” the creator of STAR WARS, and he interviews real guests as themselves in a panel format. He is flanked by sidekick Watto, played by Griffin Newman (THE TICK, Blank Check podcast) and producer Patrick Cotnoir (Hey, That’s Me!: A Commentary Podcast, ASSSSCAT).

*Hidden in Pieces* is a 22-minute visual companion-piece to the Yeah Yeah Yeah&#8217;s live record *Hidden in Pieces: Live at The Royal Albert Hall* out on September 25th. The black and white short film is directed by award-winning filmmaker Barnaby Clay, who previously directed the Mick Rock documentary *Shot*! and horror film *The Seeding*.
